I feel cheated. I've spent roughly 15 minutes (while at work) trying to secure my Steam Controller...... but no, I had to be greeted by stupid errors and payment glitches.🚫 I said I only wanted one. Just one. I'm not asking for 5, 10, 200, nor 1000. Just one. Give me one. I'm going to have to contact Steam Support after work.❌️

@Joko_fpan @d0tn3t1 @walaber Yeah its just lazy, outdated netcode. Tbh, most of these games are actually playable at high framerates (you can use a fps unlocker on tekken 8 and it works perfectly fine online) because the game thread is completely separated from rendering

@d0tn3t1 @walaber Every fighting game except 2XKO is locked to 60 for multiple reasons, locking the game to 60 can make behavior more consistent and deterministic, especially when dealing with p2p netcode.

I hate this stupid hitsound / hitmarkers / damage number / healthbar era. They exist solely to compensate the feedback feeling like shit. This has been the standard in AAA games and I can't take it anymore. We've lost immersion, art styles and innovation Slopification of games

Also, CS makes so much money from cases they could probably absorb the 128 tick costs with half a month of cases lol. It's just Valves approach, never simple

So what happens when you need to VPN for remote work? Hopefully the VPN provider pays for your age verification? (Many sites i used for work just didnt, blueprintUE etc) Fucking clueless, terrible decision rushed out the gate by 70 year olds, just like OSA.

The reason why RAM has become four times more expensive is that a huge amount of RAM that has not yet been produced was purchased with non-existent money to be installed in GPUs that also have not yet been produced, in order to place them in data centers that have not yet been built, powered by infrastructure that may never appear, to satisfy demand that does not actually exist and to obtain profit that is mathematically impossible.

@andrewpprice Steamworks is BY FAR the easiest API to work with, and in most fields provides more generous offerings than EOS, PlayFab etc, while being cheaper short term. This allows the indie genre to thrive on Steam. Stop ignoring obvious facts as if Steam just "provides the downloads"
