@TJTheWheelDeal "But a Jew is one inwardly, and circumcision is a matter of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter." (Romans 2:29) This is a distorted view of Scripture called Dispensationalism that only emerged relatively recently, and nobody in church history held it before.

Is it time to take Israel to the woodshed and give them a spanking? As a Christian, we have a Biblical mandate to support Israel, but they do make it pretty dang hard to do so at times. We are living in very interesting times. I harken back to when I was a kid at church and the elders would say the end is near. I would just look at them like they were nuts. Now, I’m starting to think they might have been onto something. What a shit show we have on our hands. It’s sad and laughable all at the same time.

@Codie_Sanchez The advice women receive is backwards. Children should come first during your most fertile years, and then you can focus on your career/ biz. I truly hope it works out for you. Good people like you should be multiplying.

I asked my mom & dad for advice recently from raising me and my brother... I’m not a parent yet but one day (fingers crossed). This is what they told me, maybe you’ll find it useful too: 1. Your kids are not your friends. They’re yours to safeguard and support, but set rules. Biggest problem with most kids in our generation, their parents wanted to be liked not respected. 2. Psy ops are underrated. My mom had this line for whenever I got into trouble. She’d say, “When I ask you a question like this, I already know the answer. I am giving you a chance to come clean...” At which point I’d sing like a canary because I’m a scaredy cat. I found out today she rarely knew the answers. Brilliant and maniacal. 3. Always on the same page. My mom and dad rarely fought in front of my brother and I. They would never go back on the word of the other. United front to deal with us mini terrorists. 4. Make time. My dad had this silly line that is actually not silly: “You can make money, you can make a cake, but you can’t make time.” So they made allllll the time for us. 5. Four chairs. We have these four chairs in our living room, no tv. Growing up, we’d sit and debate and talk for hours. Politics. Opinions. Our days. Only thing not allowed was an opinion you couldn’t defend unemotionally. We still do this today. 6. Mi Sangre mi siempre. They’d always say, blood comes first. They meant it. I hired my brother, my dad, my mom, my cousin at times. We stick together and we may fight like hell but never in front of others. 7. Once you decide, you don’t quit. We could play any sport or instrument BUT if we committed we had to play the full year all out. No 3 lessons and quit. Taught us to choose thoughtfully and keep going even when it hurt. 8. Always call. They still pick up the phone nearly every time it’s family. My dad in a meeting will pause to answer my mom. My husband taught me this too, and I try to do the same. If they’re your first priority this is an easy way to prove it. 9. You’re not a princess, you’re a president. My dad always used to say that line. He told me this week that I lived up to it. Gutted me. He taught us we didn’t need to be saved, instead we could save ourselves and help others. 10. Hug often and seriously. If you’ve ever hugged my parents, they mean it when they do it. Such a simple, free gesture. My mom always gives you a hug and says vaya con dios... go with God. How can you not do big things with parents that hold you like that? Just some lessons from parents I happen to think are some of the best in the world. Moms & dads everywhere, I’m in awe of you. Hardest job I’ve ever seen. Hope ya'll have a great time with the fam today ❤️ Now get off your phone 😉

Agreed. I voted for Donald Trump, but support should never mean blind loyalty. He didn’t meet many expectations. Still, his presidency did something few leaders ever do. It exposed how power actually operates behind the curtain. Sometimes a society needs a disruptive figure at the top. Not because he solves everything, but because he forces everyone to see what was already there. Institutions, media, elites, opponents. The mirror suddenly appears, and people begin to recognize the system they live in.

@KristanHawkins @conservmillen Oh, look — a woman from the pro-life lobby defending women who murder their own babies. Haven’t we seen this movie before? We must reject feminism and return good women like you to your intended roles, leaving matters that require objectivity and valor to good Christian men.

.@conservmillen, I agree with parts of what you’re saying, and I have respect for people who are both pro-life and supportive of the death penalty, since abortion kills the most innocent and vulnerable, while capital punishment concerns those guilty of the most serious crimes. But I do think there’s a misunderstanding of the Father’s heart here, and some important distinctions are missing. First, every human being possesses unalienable dignity because we are made in God’s image (Gen. 1:27), innocent or guilty. That dignity does not disappear after even the most horrific sin. We are also privileged to live in a time when modern societies can protect the public without killing the offender. This preserves the possibility of repentance and salvation! As St. John Paul II wrote in Evangelium Vitae, “even the guilty retain their dignity and capacity for redemption” (EV 9), and cases where execution is absolutely necessary “are very rare, if not practically NONEXISTENT” (EV 56). If we want to understand God’s heart, we look to Jesus, who is the perfect revelation of the Father and who should be our model for everything. When Jesus encountered the woman caught in the very act of adultery, a crime punishable by death under the law (Lev. 20:10), He did not deny her sin. He exposed it, disarmed the mob, and then said: “Go, and sin no more.” This is not a rejection of justice, but a fulfillment of it! Jesus gave her truth paired with mercy and an invitation to conversion. We see the same pattern with the woman at the well (John 4). Jesus confronts her grave moral disorder, yet offers living water rather than condemnation. He exposed her sin, extended mercy, and invited her to transformation! You brought up Genesis 9:6, but we all know the fullness of moral revelation comes in Christ. Again and again, Jesus says, “You have heard… but I say to you…,” intensifying his moral demands while redirecting justice away from violence and toward mercy. Scripture must be read as a whole to understand the Lord’s heart. Abortion is evil because it kills the innocent life of a human being made in the image and likeness of God. The death penalty risks declaring that redemption is no longer worth allowing while also prematurely ending a life of a someone made in the image and likeness of God. We should never foreclose the possibility of repentance when it is available! God can transform anyone, and we should want heaven to be crowded. Consider St. Paul himself, a persecutor and accomplice to the killing of Christians. By any just society’s standard, he could have faced death. Instead, Christ met him, converted him, and he became one of the greatest saints in history. Ultimately, we defend Life not because every person is innocent, but because every person is made in the image of God and no one is beyond His mercy. PS: This is why I oppose bills that support the death penalty for mothers who have had abortions, such as HB 570 in Tennessee. Promoting these types of bills, which will not pass, is not only a waste of precious time that could be spent actually saving more lives, but it also drives more women away from hearing the Gospel in truth and love.
Allie Beth Stuckey@conservmillen

On the contrary, I am for the death penalty for the same reason I’m against abortion: I value innocent life. In Genesis 9:6, which is pre-Israel and pre-law, God demands the death penalty for murder, and He roots the command in a reason that is still true today: man is made in His image. It is because humans are so uniquely valuable that God says the only proportionate punishment for murdering one of us is death. It is out of his great love and care for people—not cruelty—that God gives this dictate. Even if one disagrees with the death penalty being applied in America today, saying that it is “not pro-life” is calling God not pro-life, since, at the very least, He commanded it in the Old Testament. (Romans 13 also gives the government this authority). He doesn’t change or evolve; He was just as just then as He is today. Remember, Christian, we are not nicer than God. The most loving thing we can always do is agree with Him.

@novogratz @novogratz Let’s be men and call things for what they are. It’s an Islamic regime. A Christian government wouldn’t act this way. In fact, the laws we have are largely rooted in Christian principles—due process, for example.

Iran’s tragedy is real. But if her takeaway is don’t let Muslims take America, then she didn’t learn from Iran. She learned to hate. Iran collapsed because institutions failed, fear took over, and extremists hijacked the country, helped along by Western meddling and Cold War power games. The fastest way to help extremists win is to treat an entire faith like an enemy. That’s rage looking for a target.
ثنا ابراهیمی | Sana Ebrahimi@__Injaneb96

As an Iranian, it is heart-wrenching to watch my homeland being burned down and my people being slaughtered in cold blood by savage Islamists. As an Iranian in New York, I would like to beg every single American to not let America fall into the hands of Islamists. You do not want to see your children getting slaughtered fighting this evil. And I know you think that cannot happen to America but believe me that is what Iranians thought in 1979…

I don’t care what anyone on FinX says, but this is not a normal drop. We are looking at EXTREME fear. People are quite literally panicking left and right. Bitcoin is dropping as if it has no floor and the rugs been pulled. Gold and silver are moving like meme coins. Tech stocks are plummeting as if AI will replace them all. Things look horrible, they truly do. You can get mad that I’m saying this, I don’t really care, but in my opinion this looks worse than last April’s Liberation Day. Why? Because at least last April we knew why things were dropping. Now, we have no real idea. This is truly the most uncertainty I’ve ever witnessed not only in the markets, but in life. Interesting times. My account is now down 16% YTD… Fun times. Moving forward, I’m playing it extremely safe. Not making this mistake twice.
