I don't think there is evidence of deliberately targeting civilians, although for sure there were some dual use targets and civilian casualties. I think the pendulum swung too hard the other direction

I’ve always been a staunch NATO supporter but this is the closest I’ve gotten to “I don’t even care anymore” It’s one thing to not get involved. It’s another thing to limit your “getting involved” to contributing nothing, having the capacity to contribute nothing, *and then* making demands as to what should happen anyway and making those demands benefit the state sponsor of terrorism.

Folding on this, letting Iran dictate terms for a terrorist organization a thousand miles away, would be a disastrous precedent to set. It would effectively diplomatically link Iran and Hezbollah while still allowing Iran to use them as a ground army. Do not fold on this.
