From the reports I have received, our armed forces have been conducting sustained, intense land and air offensives against the insurgents, neutralising many terrorist fighters and commanders. The insurgents’ counterattack is a sign of desperation.   I extend my condolences to the families of our gallant soldiers, led by  Brigadier-General Oseni Omoh Braimah, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the defence of our country in Borno State.   The government will never forget their sacrifices. Their sacrifices will not be in vain. Because of the courage and dedication of our troops on the frontline, our resolve to defeat terrorism and all forms of violence across Nigeria is stronger than ever.   I urge the Military High Command and our troops in all theatres of operation: Do not lose heart, do not be weary, do not be discouraged.   Our officers and men should continue to serve with honour, courage, and patriotism. The government will always stand by the Armed Forces, provide more of the equipment needed and ensure the welfare of all who risk their lives for our safety.   I urge Nigerians and the media to continue to support our Military in their relentless battle against insurgency and banditry. We should desist from celebrating or condoning the attacks against our troops. These soldiers are our heroes; unforgettable and irreplaceable.   My condolences also go to the government and people of Borno State. The Federal Government will continue to work with the state government to achieve total victory and lasting peace. Bola Ahmed Tinubu President & Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria

11 years ago I was at INEC office fighting for democracy! Today again I was at INEC office fighting for democracy! Let me introduce myself! I am Aisha Yesufu, a proud member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). I came out to protest today because our democracy is under threat What we are seeing today is an attempt to silence a nation, to intimidate citizens, and to reduce our democracy to the personal property of a few. I refuse it. Nigerians refuse it. We say NO to tyranny. We say NO to corruption. We say NO to a government that has turned hunger, fear, and hopelessness into national policy. This #SaveOurDemocracy protest is not about politics. It is about survival. It is about dignity. It is about the right of every Nigerian to live in a country that works for them and not against them. To every Nigerian who believes in justice, in truth, in peace, in unity: Stand up. Step out. Speak loud. Silence is not neutrality. Silence is enabling oppression. Nigeria belongs to all of us, and we will not fold our arms while a few drag it into darkness. We are here to defend our future and the future of generations coming after us. A New Nigeria is possible, but only if we demand it. And today, we are demanding it with our voices, our presence, and our courage. Nigeria must rise. Democracy must stand. Aisha Yesufu

Iranian Leaders are professionals in one thing, talking tough in public while secretly begging Washington from their respective bunkers. Funny thing is, they can't even crawl out of those bunkers right now to enjoy sunlight, and if they must, they disguise as harmless women... This is what the regime's Generals now do so they don't get eliminated by the IDF. Shameful!

NEPA issue did not start today and as a serious business man, it makes no sense depending on NEPA and inviting experts to run a smooth and profitable business. Instead of wasting money on diesel and generators, invest in solar, it's a One time spending and years of zero generator, NEPA and diesel worries. Oga, take charge and start thinking like a real businessman.

" We are tired. In my Plaza here, NEPA didn't give us light, and we have been on a generator since Thursday. It's faulty, and we have brought 4 experts to look it, it goes off every 5 minutes of repair. 4 of my staff who collect 100k salary every month told me they use 52k and above for transportation every month, so what is left? What can 48k do for them? I can't increase their salaries because we deal with property. How many Nigerians are buying properties these days? Many people who learned craft have moved to Okada and Keke because of lack of electricity? Government please show us pity!
