@cecegkh I mean personally I’ve done Uber 5 years ago and just got back on for a week this past month. I made way more 5 years ago, $21 to take someone 38miles away? That would’ve at least been $35 5 years ago. Even he knew it was BS and add a $20 tip. You might see this more often🤷🏾‍♂️.

Two ladies call an Uber to pick them up for a ride. As they get settled in to the Uber, they ask the driver to turn the air conditioner on. The driver refuses and tells the women that if they had wanted A/C then they should have paid for an Uber comfort. The women continue to argue with the driver telling him all cars have an A/C and they are simply asking for him to turn it on. He still refuses and said that he does not use the A/C on regular standard fares because it burns his gas faster. *side note: This is NOT Uber’s policy, just the man being cheap. According to Uber, A/C is required on every ride. Would you ask to get out of the car immediately or would you complete your ride? Would you contact Uber to report this driver or just give him a bad rating?

@ronsterd89 Only Firestone I go to told me the samething, but it was a fairly new tire so they were on the hook to replace the whole tire. I asked why not just patch it, they said it’s for safety. Don’t want to be responsible for a patch to fail soon.

Tires with 11,000 miles and a nail. Firestone told me they are not repairable. Firestone said this is not repairable because of the location and that I would need a new tire. It's a slow leak, about 1-2 psi a day. I am in disbelief that this is not repairable.. Can I not just get a fix kit? 🤧

That’s Transit Fare Inspectors jobs for Muni and Fare Inspection Officers/BART PD for BART. The high assaults on Station Agents have had our Unions stress that we don’t get involved🤷🏾‍♂️.

Ordered uber this morning and a Benz pulls up. I walk up to the car, look at the driver, I laugh, he laughs, I laugh again, he laughs too. I take my phone, I cancel the ride, he nods at me and drives away. Peace and understanding at work😂

This is appalling. Mary Fong Lau was doing 70mph in a 40mph zone when she killed a family of four who were waiting to catch a bus to the zoo to celebrate their wedding anniversary, including two infants. No mechanical fault was found with her Mercedes SUV. She has only JUST changed her plea (after 2 years) from ‘not guilty’ to ‘no contest’ as part of a plea deal. In the meantime, she has transferred her assets - including 3 properties- into newly registered companies formed by her relatives so her victims family cannot sue her. She required a Cantonese interpreter in court. The San Francisco Superior Court Judge said he won’t give Lau prison time, as that would be 'sentencing her to die within the state prison system’. His name is Bruce Chan. Lau may have been 78 when this happened, now 80, but she isn’t some doddery old lady. She has made a series of calculated decisions to reduce HER OWN loss and suffering, like hiding her assets and a last minute plea change. Even if it was a horrible accident, a father, mother, 1 year old and 3 month old baby perished due to Lau’s actions. Other people at the bus stop were injured also. Judge Chan giving Lau no jail time sends a terrible message about the value of the human lives she took, whilst showing more concern about her quality of life. That’s not justice.

@CaltransHQ I’m sitting at the light on 5th st and Broadway making my way to Alameda, wall of dirty water falls all over my vehicle. I know I saw Caltrans vehicles above on the freeway above and a Caltrans worker on the ground on Washington and 5th. This ridiculous.
