@auchenberg @united @AirCanada This has happened to me before lol. Standing at the gate and the agent insisting they can’t edit the flight because it’s a codeshare so I should go to the other company but I just came from there where they said the same thing 🤦♀️
English

I just had an insane kafkaesque experience with @united who operates a codeshare with @AirCanada, where the staff bounced me between the two airline counters causing me to miss my check-in window and thereafter the @united staff refused to rebook me.
Insanity.

Super cool to be reading the (amazing) State of AI design report this morning and see the lil' prototyping tool I've been building show up in there ❤️ stateofaidesign.com/chapters/tools

I designed software for 15 years and never shipped an app of my own. I couldn't code, still can't.
Then I learned how to talk to AI and shipped my first iOS app.
I created NEUMA to teach you how to build and ship your ideas in as fast as a weekend.

Tired of dealing with our annoying robot vacuum and have been eyeing up the @maticrobots… anyone have one and want to talk me down? 😅

@joshpuckett @maticrobots Ahhh it’s so cute your good word might have sold me 🙇♀️
English

@ow @Mappletons @maticrobots Yeah, I have a small army of them... all with their pros and cons. Matic is def a solid choice though. It's the most delightful, and that matters a lot to me
English

@terkelg @Mappletons @maticrobots Interesting, I have a Roborock but hate how seemingly dumb it is half the time and lawd there is too much maintenance for my liking, picky little things!!
English

@Mappletons @ow @maticrobots It's fun and cute. Love the app and design details, but it's still an early product and doesn't beat my Roborock. That thing is the Lamborghini of vacuums
English

@neversitdull @maticrobots Amazing! Seems to really stand out in the market as a company that really got the UX right/very diff from the status quo! Thanks!
English

@ow @maticrobots We have one and love it! The whole experience from unboxing to setting up the app was super delightful. It's had a few little hiccups here and there, but overall it's been great and definitely recommend it. My toddler loves it too and named ours Vinny the Vacuum!
English

@mehul @KatieLangerman @maticrobots That’s kind! Thinking to snipe one on my next SF run in a few weeks since ya’ll aren’t in Canada yet! Return might be tricky haha.
English

@ow @KatieLangerman @maticrobots Owen,we have 60 day return but try it even for 120 and if you don’t like it, you can DM me to send it back.
And we have some amazing stuff coming that will be a game changer…so stay tuned on that.
English

@KatieLangerman @maticrobots neat! I have a Roborock and it’s…fine, but have to babysit it constantly, amazing how basic stuff seems to confound it!!
English

@ow @maticrobots I think it’s worth a try, I like mine. It’s not the deepest clean but it’s better than rescuing a lost vacuum every single day. They finally added smart home support if you’re into that. I’d check out their release notes and make sure it has all the features you expect.

Looking for 3 people to give early access to granite.co
Granite is a long term doc vault. Legal, medical, business, taxes, etc.
It's NOT a knowledge base. It's a place to drop documents you may never need or only need once or twice. But you should be able to find those docs instantly.
Imagine a title for a vehicle. Or receipts for taxes. Or a purchase agreement from a business transaction. You simply dump all of those docs in Granite and never think about them again...until you do.
No organization. No tagging. No folders. Simple plain english text input to find exactly what you need right when you need it.
If you're interested, drop me a DM! You'll be the first to try it out and hit me with ALLLL the feedback. 🎉

Can hardly wait for Lenny and Friends Summit. Lenny has a knack for bringing together interesting and ambitious people. And there’s sooooo much to talk about.

It's posts like these that reinforce why my wife and I decided to build education.supply.
> abundantly clear parents are actively searching for high quality products made for learning
> there's a very wide spectrum in the relationship families have with putting tech in front of their kids. some families are entirely no-screen, others are working out how best to integrate (and when to introduce it). iPad alternatives are the most searched keyword on the site

Charlie Petty@incredutility
Another iPad alternative is the Yoto player - audiobooks, podcasts, and music for kids. They also have an amazing BBC-style daily news report! Strong recommend.

@kevinyien Would love to. So many cool things to build in this space.

who has had the most success building an “agentic design system” for production use in a large existing web app?
agentic design system could be: DESIGN.md, frontend skills, HTML spec (eg thariqs.github.io/html-effective…)
quite curious to learn what has worked, what has been difficult, how you get existing eng to use it effectively

im always like “alright better get cracking then bud” then dude hammers it out without blinking

when claude gives you a timeline of 1-2 weeks, is it aware it's gonna generate all the code in the next 5 minutes?
