In Kenya a lot of bumps are erected for profitability, someone told me they're lucrative, especially when they're not needed, your contracting company will eat good just for that one bump.

@Bogibeda It actually is a challenge. But some people add a small paved surface to create room between the building and the landscape to curb splash erosion.
Some people clean with diluted hydrochloric acid but unfortunately this sips into the landscape, damaging the natural environment.
