A historic decline has been observed in gold prices at both the global and local levels. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of gold per tola in Pakistan has plummeted by Rs. 43,600, bringing the new price per tola to Rs. 447,762. The price of 10 grams of gold in the country saw a record drop of Rs. 47,380, after which the price for 10 grams settled at Rs. 383,883. So far this month, gold has become cheaper by a total of Rs. 116,100 per tola. On the other hand, the price of gold per ounce in the international market has reached $4,250.
