I’ve never had my opinion of someone completely 180 in such a short amount of time. What makes it even worse is that he continues to double, triple, and quadruple down. He’s just absolutely torching any goodwill and legitimacy he’s meticulously built over years, and in the span of just a few days. And for what and why? Because Trump has broken his brain.

Do these liberal justices realize just how fully they are destroying the legitimacy of the Supreme Court or any decisions that will come from it? And Justice Roberts is just sitting there letting it happen after all his antics trying to "protect" the sanctity of the court? I mean, I knew that the liberal justices would vote as a block every time on their decisions, but I thought they had a legitimate argument to make. Instead, with this coming out (and especially the Dobbs delays mentioned by Mollie Hemmingway), I now believe that they are playing politics with the decisions instead of trying the cases on the merits. This will be devastating for the authority of the court if people on the right believe that the liberal justices will only play politics instead of judging the cases on the merits. If this continues, and is not reigned in, there will be no reason for the right to accept any decision made by the court that is counter to their cases. If Justice Alito put this into his decision out where everyone can see it, I believe he sees the imminent danger to the Court as a whole and may be trying to give a warning shot to let the liberal justices know how much fire they are playing with. Justice Roberts needs to step down as Chief Justice, if this is the case, as he is preserving and/or protecting nothing with his approach. And Republicans in the Senate should grow a spine, see this danger, and start impeaching these liberal justices for not doing their jobs. If Molly Hemmingway is correct, and Justice Kagan slow-walked her decision in Dobbs in order to hope that a conservative justice was killed in order to change the final outcome of the decision to a even split rather than a loss, she needs to be the FIRST to be impeached and then charged with accessory after the fact. For those who might not realize the significance of Ron's referenced to "conferenced" -- immediately after oral arguments the Justices go into "conference" in a room with no clerks, just the 9 Justices. The vote on the outcome of the case just argued. That's the decision -- they know that day which side wins. Writing the opinion is then assigned to a Justice in the majority. If the Chief is in the Majority, he decides who will write the opinion. If the Chief is in the Minority, the senior most Justice in the Majority decides. Alito's point is the outcome of this case was known more than 7 months ago -- it was argued in October. The fact that is is Alito, the author of the Court's Opinion, who calls this out is implied confirmation that it was the writing of the dissent by Kagan that delayed announcing the decision. If the libs wanted to better cover their tracks, they would have written 3 different dissents and had a better excuse for it taking as long as it did.

I worked at Burger King in the late '90s with total shitkicking rednecks, I'm talking about guys with confederate flag bumper stickers who rigged their truck horns to play Dixie (seriously). And nobody would have DREAMED of calling someone the n-word to their face. Not once did I see this in four years. Behind closed doors, yes they were telling n-word jokes *in the abstract.* But never, ever, in four years did I hear someone call a specific person the n-word. They probably would have tried to start something with you if you did (the hicklib phenomenon is not new). These were guys who drank MD 20/20 and Sprite all through their shift, who had sex in the disgusting crew bathroom with the most ratchet-ass hoes you can imagine, who stole cases of chicken nuggets for their house parties. One guy actually went to jail for murdering his friend who'd had sex with his gf. Not exactly upstanding members of society. So idk if David is lying here or if his kid lied to him but consider me skeptical that this sort of thing is happening regularly(!) in a tony suburb in 2026.

I initially responded to this with a vitriolic response because I detest people who try to run smear campaigns on me, but honestly, I kinda need these guys. No one has made me better propaganda art than them, which is exactly what Hardliners are often great at proving my article.
