@___Sean______ @dumbbitchcap i don't think it has to do with immigration. it is due to the institutionalization of medicine, plus transportation and medical tech changes making it more efficient to bring the patient to the dr than the other way around

It’s so absurd that after child birth women are expected to get up and lug their newborn to a pediatrician a week later while still recovering and most likely experiencing severe pain while walking. Why can’t doctors do a house call for this if it’s soooooo fucking important to weigh that baby
