1am this morning I paid an unscheduled visit to our Medical Center, disguised, to assess for myself, the true state of the facility especially the A and E/ surgical Wards; without any cosmetic. Whew. While a lot has been achieved in the institution, a lot of work is really needed to turn the center to a model health institution. We are grateful to all the legislators who have donated additional infrastructure to us; but we need a total overhaul of our A & E/ward. The next phase of my external engagement on behalf of the FMC includes meeting with stakeholders from our ministerial leaders to the private sector who can support and partner with us. The government cannot do it alone. May I call on well meaning Nigerians to Please come and adopt some of our buildings and renovate. Come to Macedonia and help us.

Not sure how many married women are on my TL but I have a question: How did you know it was time to settle down? You already had someone you loved and wanted to spend your life with, but was there a specific moment when it just clicked? Did you wake up one day with a sense of certainty, or how did you know you were ready?

Literally did same yesterday. Parents had given up, med team gave up. I didn’t. The alhaja had been looking for a child for 14 years. That was her first. Spent 1hr 15mins on the baby girl. I demanded to be alone with the baby. After 1hr 15mins, the cry of a child was heard and welcomed with perplexity and jubilation. Baby girl survived. Went my way, back to my station. Rest is history. There are many things we see or do that we just neglect to talk about.

Ozuitem Community Secondary School, Abia State is the next school we will be renovating and refurbishing. It serves 7 communities. We will transform this place and also establish a maintenance structure. We will formally open up the donation on 5th of February!
