JUST IN: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Troops of Operation HADIN KAI have successfully intercepted a high-level courier network attempting to smuggle encrypted communication devices into the Sambisa fringes.
THE RESULT:
✅SEIZED: 12 satellite-linked handsets and solar charging arrays.
♦️NEUTRALISED: The logistics cell responsible for maintaining insurgent comms.
✅THE IMPACT: A silent enemy is a disorganized enemy. By taking their "voice," we take their ability to coordinate.
Intelligence is the first line of fire..

HOW TO CALCULATE TILES NEEDED FOR YOUR ROOM
Many people either overbuy or underbuy tiles because they don’t know the simple method to calculate it. Let’s break it down step by step using a standard room size.
ROOM SIZE
Length = 3.6 m
Width = 3.0 m
First, calculate the FLOOR AREA
Area = Length × Width
Area = 3.6 × 3.0 = 10.8 m²
Now you know your room is 10.8 square meters.
Next, you need to know the SIZE OF YOUR TILE.
Let’s assume you are using a common tile size of 600 mm by 600 mm
Convert to meters
0.6 m × 0.6 m = 0.36 m² per tile
Now calculate NUMBER OF TILES
Number of tiles = Total area ÷ Area of one tile
= 10.8 ÷ 0.36
= 30 tiles
Now let’s convert to CARTONS
Most 600 by 600 tiles come 4 pieces per carton
Number of cartons = 30 ÷ 4
= 7.5 cartons
Since you cannot buy half carton, you round up
You will need 8 cartons
Now add WASTAGE
Always add about 5 to 10 percent for cutting and breakage
8 cartons + 1 extra carton = 9 cartons total
FINAL ANSWER
You need about 9 cartons of tiles for a 3.6 m by 3.0 m room
This method helps you plan properly and avoid wasting money.

FORMER POWER MINISTER SENTENCED TO 75 YEARS OVER ₦33.8BN MAMBILLA & ZUNGERU PROJECT FUNDS
Federal High Court has sentenced former Minister of Power, Saleh Mamman, to 75 years in prison over the diversion of ₦33.8 billion meant for the Zungeru and Mambilla hydroelectric power projects.
Mamman, who served as Minister of Power from August 2019 to July 2021, was accused of overseeing the alleged diversion of funds during his tenure.
The EFCC said he diverted the funds using some ministry officials, private companies, and Bureau de Change operators.
He was also reported to have purchased the Taraba State APC governorship forms, while separately facing another case at the FCT High Court in Maitama, where he is accused of diverting ₦31 billion meant for the Mambilla Power Project.
Delivering the judgment today, Justice Omotosho sentenced Mamman, who is on the run and was absent at the last court sitting, on each count and ordered that the sentences run consecutively bringing the total to 75 years.
The court also ruled that the sentence will begin to run from the day the convict is arrested, and ordered all security agencies, including Interpol, to apprehend him wherever he is found.
Monies recovered, along with forfeited properties, are to be remitted to the Federal Government, while the convict is also ordered to pay the outstanding balance of ₦22 billion tied to the affected hydroelectric power projects.

@NationalGridNg The banding system is a form of exploitation because it is not working. It is an act of discriminating between the rich and the poor. Let their be equal tariff and uniform power allocation.
English

The power sector urgently needs liquidity.
Among the key considerations is the recapitalization of all DisCos perhaps introducing a minimum capital base requirement similar to what applies in the banking sector. However, for investors to see sustainable, long-term, bankable returns, there is also the issue of implementing truly cost-reflective tariffs.
The questions then are:
• Which should come first ; recapitalization/delicensing of weak DisCos or the implementation of cost-reflective tariffs?
• Should the current Banding system be maintained, or should there be a more uniform tariff structure across all customer classes so everyone enjoys relatively equal power allocation?
These are conversations that must be had.
