@mattherbert4 @hwallop Sounds like much of London, tbh. Harry Wallop is a business journalist - he must know this, because London itself appears to work like a business. Cheap migrant labour serving left voting middle class whites in enclaves, with homeless whites and addicts on the fringes.

@mattherbert4 @hwallop I looked at census data for the district around Clissold Park, and it actually comes out at 55% white, higher than Hackney Borough average Although Hackney is a minority white borough in general. It also has one of the highest crime rates in London, particularly violent crime.

@ObservantChimp @hwallop I only lived there for 3 months so i'm not an expert but I would say it's half true what your saying. Clissold Park and a few select streets in the area are majority white for whatever reason but only a 5-10 minute walk away it's more of a mix of whites and arabs.

@mattherbert4 @hwallop You know, a bit like Primrose Hill, where the son of the nice white middle class family wandered out of the middle class leftish enclave, and actually encountered the diversity, then got stabbed to death for his troubles. That type of situation going on?

@mattherbert4 @hwallop This is a minority white area. So why are these people all white? Is this one of those left-liberal voting middle class enclaves, where whites live a parallel life in LTN or gated areas, inside large houses, but don't live amongst the local diversity themselves?
