Not only is Joao Pedro considered not for sale, he is also understood to be happy at Chelsea – even if he is not satisfied with the club’s current league position.

The silence around the manager situation now makes complete sense… all focus will be on the final.
But next week? That could get VERY interesting regarding Xabi Alonso.
If both sides are aligned, this really shouldn’t drag on. Feels like Chelsea have been handed a pretty clear run at this compared to previous searches… and the amount of media noise backing the move has been growing.
Question is has he been fully convinced? 👀
I really want to believe we get Alonso. With the few people I know in football, all the signs are positive. Most of them have gone quiet now which usually means one thing.
But I just can’t allow myself to get excited. Olise, Osimhen, Enrique etc has given me way too much anxiety and loss of trust. We are very good at getting to this point and messing the whole thing up.
If we do get him (don’t think about it, don’t think about it, don’t think about it) then there would be two major wins. Firstly we will have landed the majority of fans first choice and in doing so, you would like to think that the only way it happened is by accepting a new approach to the team and transfer targets.
At this point, tomorrow is the only thing that matters. But after that, the dreaming can start……
A win tomorrow, Alonso announced at half time v Spurs with us 3-0 up……
“You may say that I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one……💭
@RasenRendanX@MaxFSport What if they get hammered in their last 2 games? The fans want him gone. I’m cautious about Alonso. Club are good at messing things up and letting us down time after time.
A lot of questions on whether Chelsea will tweak the model, give more power to the manager, etc., etc.
Have I heard from some people that they will and have learned from past experiences? Yes, but to be honest, I don't want to officially report this because I think it is a wait-and-see thing.
One thing I know, which the Guardian said earlier, is that a lot of big players in the dressing room want Alonso.
🚨 Chelsea believe their NEW project which starts this summer has to include Joao Pedro as crucial player, no intention to let him leave. (@FabrizioRomano)
As if we weren’t already a laughing stock, the owners are now bringing out this not so great home shirt for next season!!! I miss the days we wore Adidas kits.
We’ve seen a fair bit about Alonso this week.
I do not trust the owners, or the directors.
Amongst a large portion of the fanbase it appears Alonso would be welcomed.
BUT, i find it odd that we’re getting so much info right before a protest.
Coincidence, maybe 🤔
🚨 👀 Some representatives of Chelsea players have not been shy in telling us, when contacted privately, that Xabi Alonso would be considered a real coup in the eyes of their clients. (@kierangill_DM@MailSport)
