Once again in times of disruption @Se_Railway and @nationalrailenq incapable of the simple task of telling people which train will depart first from Charing Cross.

The station is managed directly by Network Rail, so it may be worthwhile feeding information back to them if their departure boards aren't updating in the station correctly as they won't be aware of this otherwise. Regarding any issues with the departure information on our app this is fed directly from the information provided by the train operator and updates as and when they change their information. If you're still awaiting any information I can check our systems to see if there's any further information you may benefit from.

@nationalrailenq @Se_Railway The boards at the station and app showed departure info that bore no resemblance to reality. I get there is disruption but would it hurt to tell people there has been a change of plan, so everyone didn’t watch trains speed off ahead of them, that they otherwise could have caught

Maybe you could invest in a tannoy for the station as there was no evidence one exits tonight!

It’s like platform roulette. Pick a train and see if your gamble pays off, or, having been shown on the boards as the next train to depart you sit on it and watch trains all around you leave first with no member of staff thinking a change of plan might be into you’d have liked.

This isn’t about developing resilience. I found my friend’s hanging body when I was only 18 years old. The sight of the feet hanging there is still a trigger for me. To then lose my brother the same way in 2019 💔 Doesn’t make me a snowflake. It’s called trauma!
