@Zim16340 @Rasler_Elos @Clint_Davey1 Saquearon, incendiaron, asesinaron y violaron. Se les trato mejor que a los delincuentes comunes que iban directos a la horca. El ejercito frances se condujo de forma muy poco civilizada en España (tampoco los "aliados" ingleses se comportaron mucho mejor, todo hay que decirlo)

The Habsburg Empire united Spain and the Holy Roman Empire. This meant that the Tercios and the Landsknecht were on the same side and often fought together. That's pretty badass. Two of the best types of 16th century infantry. Spanish and Germans together.

🇪🇸🇺🇦 Spain is sending Ukraine the VAMTAC. Here is why it matters. Spain and Ukraine just agreed a defence cooperation package worth €1 billion in 2026 — and alongside 155mm artillery shells and air defence priorities, Madrid is delivering a vehicle that Ukraine already knows how to use in combat. The URO VAMTAC — Vehiculo de Alta Movilidad Tactico, built by Galician manufacturer UROVESA — is Spain's answer to the American Humvee, developed in the late 1990s with more advanced technology and progressively improved since. Its name says everything: Uro is Spanish for wisent — the European bison. Powerful, sure-footed, built for difficult terrain. What it brings to Ukraine's front line: — 6-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine, 5-speed automatic transmission — 4.8m long, 2.1m wide, 1.9m high — centre of gravity engineered as low as possible — Handles 45-degree slopes. Front approach angle: 70°. Crosses rivers up to 1.5m deep after waterproofing — Range: over 600 kilometres — Weapons-ready for: 12.7mm heavy machine guns, 40mm grenade launchers, anti-tank guided missiles, 81mm mortars, and air defence rocket systems — Speed: up to 135 km/h on road Ukraine already operates VAMTAC in combat — configured as the launch platform for Britain's Rapid Ranger air defence system, hunting Shaheds at up to 15 km detection range. The vehicle is proven. The crews know it. Now more are coming. The broader package — what Spain committed: — €1 billion in defence assistance for 2026 — 155mm artillery ammunition — the calibre Ukraine fires daily on the contact line — Patriot missile supply support — critical for protecting Ukrainian cities from ballistic attacks — Joint drone production scaling — Spain joining Ukraine's defence industrial expansion — Contribution to the PURL mechanism and participation in a joint European anti-ballistic defence project Minister of Defence Mykhailo Fedorov @FedorovMykhailo met his Spanish counterpart Margarita Robles to finalise these priorities. His message was direct: Spain's contribution is significant — now the task is deploying it with maximum effectiveness against Ukraine's most urgent needs. Spain is not a frontline NATO state. It does not share a border with Russia. It has no direct geographic stake in the outcome of this war. It is contributing €1 billion anyway — because European security is collective, and because the VAMTAC heading to eastern Ukraine is a vehicle built in Galicia, carrying the weight of a continent that has decided it will not look away. Gracias, España. Por el VAMTAC. Por los misiles. Por los mil millones. Por no apartar la mirada. El pueblo ucraniano no olvida a quienes estuvieron a su lado cuando más lo necesitaba. Слава Україні. Viva España. 🇺🇦🇪🇸 — Source: Ministry of Defence of Ukraine / Minister Fedorov, April 23, 2026 #Ukraine #Spain #VAMTAC #DefenceCooperation #StandWithUkraine #UkraineWillWin #SlavaUkraini #SpainUkraine #UAF #NATO

@acekingspades @CarlosMoralesG_ Funny thing about military issued clothing: it never fits well unless you take to a taylor. Every time a brand copies the patron copies the fit issues that come with the original 🤣

After watching this video, one thing became crystal clear: You need a military green jacket in your rotation right now. This is the perfect layering piece for spring. Structured enough to add instant shape, lightweight for mild days, but warm when the temperature drops in the mornings and evenings. Throw it over a tee, shirt, or knit and you’re instantly dressed. It goes well also with a suit. Timeless, masculine, and versatile. Stop overthinking your outer layers. Where to buy (solid options): • Alpha Industries M-65 (authentic heritage repro, great price/performance) go.shopmy.us/p-54368674 • Rothco or Bronson Mfg for classic military spec go.shopmy.us/p-54369034 • Polo Ralph Lauren: the one that last decades (and in linen is crazy) go.shopmy.us/p-54369213 Add one and thank me later.

@Dr_TheHistories He wore it with permission granted by the Queen? Or just because he served as an officer in that exact regiment and thus had the right to wear it?

WHY DID PRINCE HARRY WEAR A NEAR-EXACT REPLICA OF NICHOLAS II’S JACKET AT HIS WEDDING CEREMONY? When Prince Harry walked down the aisle, many noticed something striking about his uniform, it looked almost identical to those worn by Nicholas II in early 20th century photographs. Coincidence? Not quite. Harry and Nicholas II were related, Harry is the great grandson of George V, who was Nicholas II’s first cousin, a family resemblance that went far beyond their faces. So what was he actually wearing? Not a Russian uniform, but a British one with deep historical echoes. Harry wore the frock coat uniform of the Blues and Royals, a regiment within the Household Cavalry, granted to him with permission from Elizabeth II for his wedding day. And here is where it gets interesting. That uniform closely mirrors the style of the Royal Scots Greys, the very regiment that Nicholas II was made honorary colonel in chief of back in 1894 during his marriage to Alexandra Feodorovna, Queen Victoria’s granddaughter. Nicholas II admired the regiment so much that he frequently wore its uniform at official events, including visits to Britain. The distinctive horizontal braiding across the chest, which today looks almost designer, actually comes from traditional Hungarian cavalry dress, a style adopted across European armies. So no, Harry was not copying the Tsar. He was stepping into a long standing royal and military tradition, where monarchs and princes honoured regiments by wearing their uniforms, sometimes even those of foreign armies tied by blood and alliance. In fact, European royals routinely held honorary military titles across borders, Nicholas II in Britain, Wilhelm II in Russia, and Franz Joseph I likewise connected to Russian regiments. What looked like a visual echo was actually something deeper. A reminder of a time when Europe’s royal families were so closely intertwined that their uniforms, like their bloodlines, often crossed borders. © The Tudor Intruders #drthehistories

@Oddbull @AlienBugSpray @ddpshare @Vitus_osst "Unfermented wine is essentially grape juice or a grape-based beverage that has never undergone fermentation, meaning it contains 0.0% alcohol and no yeast" - you can pratically look it up in any dictionary. And no it did not say Jesus was drinking fermented wine.

@Francis14504559 @AlienBugSpray @ddpshare @Vitus_osst If not fermented is not wine. In Canna wedding is stated that good wine was served, and then (when attendants are drunk) the worse quality one was served. Jesus miracle makes the water better wine that the first one served, wich shocks people as was reverse to custom
