@buccocapital The main problem in America is we let rich people gain political power. That doubles their power if not gives it orders of magnitude. That is a vulnerability in our system which need be corrected. Our more important checks and balances remain but many more are still needed.

It is distinctly possible that Elon will be the only trillionaire to ever exist because he exploited this narrow window where a government deeply and heavily subsidized technology for private industry without claiming ownership over a supermajority of the profits
Will Manidis@WillManidis

narrowly: I am neither pro-nor-against the emergence of "state corporatism"/"state capitalism" i am simply asking you to notice that the separation of state and industry that tech has enjoyed from 2005-2025 is the historical exception, not the norm. don't get too comfortable.

@MattH_4America Such a system would not operate on binary and or logic but rather statistical clustering and aggregation to narrow collective will into preference-mapping. The system would map collective will through pattern, distribution, and weighted consensus. Constraints dissolved in time.

@MattH_4America I subscribe to ideals, ideally our republic would not have representative governance but democratic participation of citizens via the technological capabilities of modern science. An open and transparent forum for ideas and voting of policy and daily relevance to individuals.

🚨ALERT: In a massive victory for President Trump's tariff policy, an aluminum plant in South Carolina just surged jobs for Americans that pay $125K per year. Century Aluminum CEO Jesse Gary said: "The tariffs are WORKING! The plant is going BACK to 100% manufacturing capacity!"

@DudeWhoInvests Oklo because the US is fucked without critical isotopes, energy sovereignty at scale and speed, multiple fuel solutions, and industrial heat for aluminum and other critical materials.

Trump is an 80-year-old billionaire who only cares about a few things. Making more money, taking care of his family, lying to get it, and the forgotten men and women of America will remain forgotten. That's it. 12 wasted years. We fought so hard to be ignored. I'm angry about it

Trump dropped bombs on a desalination plant in Iran’s Hormozgan province — cutting off water to 10,000 cilivians across 20 villages. This is not a military target. Trump is deliberately bombing critical infrastructure civilians need to stay alive.

@AidanSimardone I dont expect them too, Iran wont allow it now that we *bombed them back to the stone age.* It will still be the Trump administrations fault.

RON BARON ON ELON MUSK: "IF YOU'RE WORTH $1 TRILLION, $2 TRILLION, $3 TRILLION, OR $5 TRILLION... WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE? THAT'S NOT WHAT HE'S INTERESTED IN. HE'S TRYING TO SAVE HUMANITY."

I genuinely don't understand people like Bezos and Musk. If I had billions of dollars, I would just start fixing everything. Homeless veterans sleeping on the streets? Not on my watch. Hungry children going to bed with empty stomachs? Hell no. They could be making life better but instead choose to build spaceships and data centers to pump stocks and destroy the planet

@niccruzpatane With the valuation they IPO'd at and how many multiples they are frontrunning revenue at the moment. Its not even a risk to short it, underwriters did it.
