Do you take Us as seriously as I do? Standing up and walking out is childish. You want control over her body, to tell her what she can and cannot do with it, but you don't care enough to treat her like there's a person piloting the body who was clearly experiencing something that led to thinking like that. So, of course you'd just stand up and leave. That's all you're emotionally capable of doing.
