Let me expand on WHY I very specifically don't call what BSG or alot of other games do P2W, but rather pay for convience. The term pay 2 win has become a broad term in internet lexicon that is used to describe too many games. "Pay to win" is reserved in my mind for the most egregious cases. Games like Star Wars Battlefrontand and Clash Royal. PvP games where you pay money for direct advantages against other players. Tarkov just doesn't rise to this level, in my opinion. Me thinking EoD or Unheard is not "P2W" is not a defense or justification of the stuff BSG does, or other games that monitize progression. It is an attempt (probably futile one) to not dilute the term I see as a far more harsh label. If you wana use P2W as a broad adjective, feel free. I'm just not going to agree with you.

I play more than people who play 10 hours a week. I level faster. That's not P2W and there are certainly people who are lower level than me that rub my face in the dirt. While I agree this is the closest to P2W they've gotten since the scav radio thing with Unheard, it's still not there for me. That doesn't mean I like it or am defend it. I'm just defining it differently.
