@Duderichy Most of what was composed for orchestras in the 20th century and beyond was shite. Abstract, atonal, non-melodic, and dissonant. No one would ever listen to it at all if college professors didn’t have their heads up their asses.

I think being a dumbass would be accepting everything Michael Knowles says “in good faith” without interrogating it but what do I know.
