This debate has fallen into the pitfall of many debates on here, it doesn't argue the real point at issue:
Having a girlfriend is spiritually gay. You want to kiss someone who likes to kiss men? That's at least transitively gay.

Wife & I very recently bought Battlefront II (the old one, not the EA one), Last night, we played split screen Rise of the Empire campaign, with the scenes of 501st commentary.

One of my old friends who is a woman was characterizing her relationship with a guy as fully official, but he never showed up to any group outings, even her birthday.
At one point, like 2 years ago, she was thinking a proposal might be on the horizon. No news on that front since.
