Under the guidance of Project Director PACP, Dr. Naveed Akhtar Malik, the Phase 2 sessions are being led by respective Center Incharges, engaging DHO Preventive Services, health officials, consultants, and frontline healthcare workers from across the districts. The sessions continue to focus on HIV transmission, prevention, available services, infection control measures, safe injection practices, and appropriate response protocols within healthcare facilities, while encouraging active participation and discussion among attendees. If the HIV status of the other person/partner is unknown then yes the risk is there. PACP provides free HIV testing on WHO recommended test kits. All advanced diagnostic tests are done in-house and free, again on WHO recommended test kits only. HIV patients need lifelong treatment and that is provided free for life. All services available at every PACP center (46 centers in 36 districts of Punjab).
