Houston, we have a problem. 423,844 registered voters. 27,166 showed up. That’s 6.4% turnout in a majority-minority district. And y’all writing think pieces? You don’t win elections on Twitter. You win by knocking doors and moving voters. If you’ll pay taxes at brunch, you can show up to decide where the money goes. Early voting is happening now for the U.S. Senate primary to replace Sen. Today, the Trump administration repealed the endangerment finding: the ruling that served as the basis for limits on tailpipe emissions and power plant rules. Without it, we’ll be less safe, less healthy and less able to fight climate change — all so the fossil fuel industry can make even more money.
