27,000 new starters gone. Services collapsing. And the government just waved it through. This isn’t mismanagement, it’s asset stripping a 500-year-old public institution. Enough. telegraph.co.uk/business/2026/…

And as I sit here on the tube, pondering life, the universe and everything, I find it interesting that I have had 7,000 new followers on here in the last 12 hours. Yes, seven thousand new followers in twelve hours. Has uncle Elon retweeted me and I missed it, or something?

Mornin’. Just woken up and walked onto my private roof terrace to admire the sunrise over the sea and listen to the birds tweeting. It’s a pleasant way to start a Wednesday. Right, I need to go and put some clothes on now. Can’t stand here all day in just my boxer shorts.

🚨 SKELETAL DEMI MOORE TREMBLING ON THE RED CARPET — FANS PANICKING OVER “OZEMPIC TREMORS” Actress Demi Moore stepped out at the Actors Awards and within minutes the alarming clips started circulating. Her mouth appeared to be frozen. Her body visibly trembling under the lights. Her frame looked extremely lean — ribs and bones sharply defined from certain angles. Almost skeletal with her veins pronounced. Now timelines are exploding with people connecting it to Hollywood’s GLP-1 era and the relentless pressure to stay razor thin. No confirmation. Just viral footage and a comment section full of fans dissecting every second. Is this harsh lighting and red carpet nerves… or are we watching the physical cost of an industry that rewards shrinking? What do you see?

Received a letter from the #DWP Apparently they overpaid mum’s pension by £365 and they want it back. It’s the middle of February. She died at the beginning of November. Just when I think I’ve dealt with everything….. *pours another 🍷

Every year as recognition of the work undertaken by Postal Workers across the UK, they are given Christmas stamps by Royal Mail. This year, for the first time those stamps are second class. If ever there was a message that summed up how they feel about our members this is it.

@Ofwatson1 @spicymutant Oh I didn't realise you were talking about a defined benefit pension. Because that's a whole other (and much bigger) decision, if you also have to start the pension income, at the same time as taking the tax free cash.

@dontdelay @spicymutant Thanks for replying much appreciated I am just going to leave it alone for now as it will increase in value and there is a 5% decrease for every year taken before SRA but this rumour keeps circulating and I know some colleagues have cashed in

I don’t think it’s likely It’s rumoured most years but rarely happens and when it has there have been protections offered to retain the previous higher figure But you’d have to think what you would do with it if you took it. Would you moving it from your pension where is grows tax free to somewhere it would become taxable
