📢 Great news for Dún Laoghaire The allocation for Housing Adaptation Grants in 2025 has increased by over €1 million, bringing the total to €3.8 million – a 36% increase on last year. The left-turning filter lane from Churchview Road onto the Wyattville Road must be extended. The length of the lane should not have been changed during the build-out without councillors’ approval. The next budget in November must include funds to finally correct this issue.

Lovely afternoon at Arbour Hill for the Annual Fianna Fáil 1916 Commemoration. It was great to catch up with so many friends and colleagues from across the island.

I was honoured to chair the inaugural meeting of the Community, Culture, Integration and Public Engagement Strategic Policy Committee. We discussed the county’s cultural needs, its disability sports programs, the Biodiversity and Heritage Fora and the cemetery by-laws.
