We were able to induct them into the heavy tasks that await them as they assume their new duties. We also rallied them to remain reliable and true to the social contract that they made with their respective electorates who entrusted them to serve in these new portfolios. The Magic in Kenyan Women 🇰🇪 Marathoners and rising stars from Kenya are coming to Uganda soon for the @RwenzoriMarathn & the energy is already building. On our journey back from Tanzania, we had a powerful encounter near the Namanga border. We linked up with two incredible female bikers bold, fearless, and full of purpose. To our surprise, even as we cruised at 130 km/h, they kept pace with ease on their big bikes. They are part of the @InkedSisterhood of Kenya a vibrant community of women riders who are not just passionate about biking, but deeply committed to impact. Through their journeys across Africa, they mentor and inspire the next generation, especially young girls, showing them that strength, freedom, and ambition have no limits. @wekesa_amos the Rwenzori momentum is high they appreciated how we hosted people at our Uganda Rent

My only way of “beating luseke” is through my ghee business. (I naturally don’t know how to beg). It’s from this that I get the logistics to run the UOX office. Just this week alone, I’ve spent over 200k on transport and paperwork, moving from one place to another pushing the Monetisation agenda. Every time you see me running around for a campaign or a UOX activity, just know it’s all coming out of my own pocket. Honestly, this is one of the reasons I’m not returning as UOX President. You get celebrated, praised, and recognized, but behind the scenes, you’re financially strained and burdened, beyond just the heavy time investment. If we truly want UOX to grow, then we must start thinking about how to support the next administration with proper logistics. (Maybe register an organization and pay an administration fee or something). Otherwise, very few people will be willing or able to invest as much as this role demands. At the end of it all, after all the praise on the timeline, you still go back home to face real bills like any other person, despite pouring in your time, energy, and resources to serve. I’m not complaining because I chose to do this and maybe I could afford the cost. But I’m saying this so we can reflect on the future of UOX. If this community truly matters to us, then we must find ways to support its leadership. Because trust me, it’s demanding, and it’s draining. #UOXDecides2026
