Whoa, 147 (36%) out of 408 people tested positive for the #coronavirus at a large homeless shelter in Boston medrxiv.org/content/10.110… More interestingly, only ~1/6 showed symptoms among those tested positive, i.e. 1:5 for symptomatic vs asymptomatic. #COVID19

@ScottGottliebMD Ideally, we could also conduct a serology test on the ~85% who tested negative to see what percent of those patients previously had the virus. That would give us the true total exposure rate

3/ OK, here's something worrisome (as if we needed it) If you look at the new cases reported since yesterday's update, there were 5k new cases reported from NY, and 12k new tests, for a 42% positive rate. That is astonishing, and suggests that the outbreak hasn't peaked yet
