Educate me on air tags. What’s the most dependable brand, are they real time for location, how long do they last? Durability is good, Milwaukee ones for rough service? Im more thinking trucks and equipment to monitor fleet movements and theft. Merry Christmas everyone!

Sad day for the Wells family. The dairy barn on the farm my Grandparents bought in the 1940’s burnt yesterday. My dad grew up on the farm and I spent a lot of my childhood there. Hasn’t been any cattle in it for likely 15 years or so. 32 tie stalls

@colesmiley17 @MaizeingPete We run floaters (both 4038 and 4044) Change them back and forth more than some. 2 guys do them in an hour. Right 3 guys would be less. Run floaters on wheat 1st pass, skinnies from then on for wheat. Switch back to floaters for some PPI work

@cropdoc2 Seeing some slug damage on conventional corn with higher residue

Slug issues abound in the no-till in SW Ontario as well thanks to persistent wetness. Slug damage is much lower with some VT tillage pre-plant after corn. Hoping for dry weather ASAP before stand losses become replants.
