@oftheplanet_ In my country, there is a poem about pagan rituals for the dead. It has a line you can translate as: "one, who had not lived, cannot truly die". They will come back as vengeful, sad spirit (often children). It makes me think about Sephiroth & how his story needs a proper closure.

Sephiroth never felt truly loved, never felt listened to, never felt like person. He felt stupid talking about his family. It's so fucking sad. The only way for him to be free of Shinra and Jenova is to become a god and eliminate humanity. Shinra was so powerful I understand...

Sephiroth is afraid to die without having had his own bodily autonomy, which was taken from him since birth. Becoming a god would grant him freedom. Madara is just fucking nuts after everything he went through and couldn't handle being an oppressed human being, which is valid.

I just know Sephiroth's chest was burning when he heard that Glenn, Matt, and Lucia left him behind to escape ShinRa without him... he realized ShinRa wasn't so good, disobeyed orders, stole a chopper, mission failure, Rhadore destroyed, Rosen dead, GML gone. Like damn...

@Eldenringkiwami @PikkuProgram Yes! The story and art direction are awesome, but all you can hear about the game is "parrying this, combat that". Can't wait for the anime, haven't been this hyped for years.

@PikkuProgram I think sekiro has a very strong narrative that I don’t see appreciated enough and means a lot to me so I hope this adaptation can highlight that, and the direction it’s taking is soooo beautiful it makes me so happy

I've never played a Sekiro game in my life but if this is the only piece of Sekiro media I end up consuming, that will leave me MORE THAN satisfied. Holy shit, holy fuck, this is probably Anime of The Year for most people, might even be for me.

i dont like to actually have to kill the dragons but the dragon fights in dai are so insanely peak like they’re my absolute fav part of this game

I had a life changing experience when I first played the original Final Fantasy VII in 2021, and now the same thing is happening to me with the original Resident Evil 2 in 2026. I swear you could sit a PS1 in front of me right now and I would be happy for the rest of my life.

@_SpyDtroid_ Also, Japanese voices are simply awesome. Sephiroth, for example, speaks so softly, he's a completely different person, compared to the English dub.

I think I finally get what y’all are saying about the voice acting LMAO. Ive been playing the original version of the game on my PS Vita while I haven’t been playing the remaster and It’s not that the remaster voice is bad, but the direction from the og va is definitely better

Heard #Sekiro main theme yesterday, got hit by a wave of nostalgia. What a great game...
