#TBThursday. On a lighter note, I had a massive crush on Daniel Lisulo's daughter, Inonge. At the time, I was at Kabulonga Boys and she was at Leopards Hill. Their school bus used to pick up the students from the Kabulonga Supermarket car park. I also became friends with Misheck Mundia and Chilumbi Mudenda who were all at Leopards Hill. We would have break dance burnouts in the car park. It was a great time to be a teenager..

Mr. Hakainde is now promising triplets after failing to deliver even a single one in his entire five years in office. Ati “five years wakangiwa,” nomba apa ati “nivyala ba mpundu”? In his first term, we were promised transformative infrastructure: new universities in provinces like North-Western, Western, and Southern; international airports in every province; and massive road networks to open up the country. Yet, five years later, the man has not even been seen to start serious preparations for most of these grand promises. No groundbreaking ceremonies for those provincial universities. No visible construction of new international airports beyond announcements. Roads remain a patchwork of inherited projects and uncompleted works. The delivery room is empty — only more sick Hakainde promises echoing. Zambians are tired of political pregnancies that never result in real birth. Time to demand actual delivery, not another round of empty labour pains
