The fact is that people are wealthier and have a higher standard of living due to market socialism. There were millionaires in Mao's China, Mao said they had state capitalism, and supported millionaire moguls like Rong Yiren

Now you've pivoted from China's poverty rate because a picture of random Chinese city shows it's a prosperous nation. 68% of China's GDP is generated by state owned enterprises and 2/3rds of the top 1000 companies in China are directly or indirectly state owned. China executes more billionaires than any nation on earth. You would be denouncing Lenin for his NEP as well.
