My friend sent out 62 applications. Ignored 62 times. Not one interview. Then they ran his resume through ChatGPT… 9 replies in 7 days. No tricks. Just smarter prompts. Here’s exactly what we asked: 1. “Pretend you’re a recruiter in [industry]. What’s missing from this resume that would hold you back from reaching out?” → Hidden issues revealed in thirty seconds. 2. “Rewrite my resume summary to sound confident, clear, and tailored to this position: [paste job description].” → Specific beats flashy. Targeted always wins. 3. “Convert these bullet points into achievement-oriented statements, include metrics when possible.” → Jargon doesn’t work. Impact does. 4. “Help me spin a 3-year career gap as growth, not a setback.” → Don’t hide it. Own it. 5. “Add ATS keywords from this job listing, without making it sound robotic.” → Speak human. Beat the bots. 6. “Format this resume so it’s scannable, clean, and compatible with any system.” → No design fluff. Just recruiter-ready clarity. 7. “Write a brief, sharp DM message to a hiring manager, no desperation, just value.” → Because standing out starts before the resume. It wasn’t the job market. It was the approach. Use smarter prompts. Get better outcomes. Save this!

I think every designer has a day of the week when they’re not in the creative zone mentally. No matter what they do . What day of the week is that for you? 😅
