Plane ticket to Berlin for World 100k champs was almost half the price of my ticket to Eugene for World Athletics champs lmao. And I’m flying into Portland…

I wasn’t sure if it was a sudden serious bout of allergies, or low ferritin, or both, both of which I’ve applied necessary changes to help (allergy meds, inhaler, liquid iron); but it feels more than that. I’ve had those things before.

Speaking from my experience, of what I assume is Covid long haulin’ - I had a few good workouts back (post Covid), and then something flipped where my breathing fundamentally changed & what used to be pretty doable paces even on off days of the past, suddenly became difficult.

For those of you (athletes) who have had Covid long haul symptoms - what was your experience in training through it? Where did symptoms show up? What were the symptoms? How long did it last? Was there anything that helped?

Question: I'm running along Crissy Field. Lots of runners. Dogs OK off leash. Someone is walking 8 dogs. 1 charges me, nips at heels etc. I yell to call it off. Walker tries. It doesnt stop. I give some words. Another dog walker (calm off leash dog) flips me off. Am I offbase?

@AlaskaAir 1st trip - BWIMZI (no notifications of trip cancelled, had to cancel 2 tickets & had to buy 2 more last minute on different airline) 2nd Trip - Flight AS 0077 JFK - SEA (upgraded 2 tickets @ $88.99/per; plane empty, internet/entertainment not working)

@AlaskaAir 3. I just did another AA flight and upgraded to Premium ($89); the flight was empty and everyone got to choose wherever they wanted, making that upgrade mute. On the same flight the internet wasn’t working; couldn’t get inflight entertainment for a 7 hr flight.

@AlaskaAir And 2. I emailed customer service to see if there was anything I could do to recover from the last minute ticket costs I had to get & I still haven’t received a response after 3 wks

@AlaskaAir Then I couldn’t get ahold of anyone, for 2 days, and finally got someone via text, and they said it was cancelled. So I had to buy last minute tickets through another airline to my destination.

@AlaskaAir I’m having a lot of trouble with my AA flights and membership - 1. My flight was cancelled days before without notice (no email or message on the app; I just had to look internally to see which flights were scheduled to leave the day of my trip & saw mine had been removed)
