You’re proving my point without realizing it. That curve you’re defending is exactly what something does when it stays bound to Earth. It builds sideways speed and keeps falling around the planet. That’s orbit, not escape. My point is simple. The shape you show is efficient for staying in Earth’s system or coming back down. It follows gravity. So if the path looks like that, it behaves like a fall-back system, not a clean departure to the Moon.

With a light source as strong as the sun, you're only seeing a pitch black round silhouette from this angle. Meaning this image is 100% made up.

Can the photographers in the room explain to me how the sun is behind the earth in the photo but the dark side that is this image is somehow very well lit. This doesn’t make sense. You can clearly tell the sun is just over the horizon on the bottom right of the earth in this photo.
