I'm probably going to get a lot of hate for this but Altman is right here, that's the right way of seeing AI models: AI is a general purpose technology and models will end up being a utility like electricity.
In fact I'm somewhat surprised he's admitting to this because it makes companies like OpenAI or Anthropic a lot less valuable: it means they'll become mere commodities, much like telecom companies or electricity providers are.
The real value will lie in the application layer - what you actually DO with AI - as opposed to the models themselves. Much like the real valuable companies enabled by the internet weren't the telecom companies but businesses like Google, Amazon or Alibaba.

Usually, after every public offer, people sell. Price could come to those levels. You guys are fortunate it went on a run.

@compoundinnaira How are they offloading when the shares allocated haven’t been listed? Their number of outstanding shares is still 890m. Public offer shares is around 900m + rights issue shares. When you see outstanding shares of about ~1.7bn shares. Then you can say this.

Not only are they taking profits, people that got excess of what they subscribed for are also offloading sharply to try and cheats

I expect @Theinitiatesplc to promptly notify the @ngxgrp this morning and request a temporary/technical suspension on trading of its shares to allow for proper reconciliation of the IPO allotment process.
Accounts reportedly credited with units above their actual subscription should be reviewed, reversed where necessary, and the issue fully resolved before normal trading resumes.

Anytime I buy or sell US stocks on my Trading212 app, it’s done within seconds and everything is completed. It’s only in the NGX space that I started hearing about liquid and illiquid stocks. I wanted to buy a stock and saw it was an illiquid stock, meaning you wouldn’t be able to sell it easily 😂🤣😂. Even the most useless US stock will be sold ASAP.
