@lollypeezle No say what you will about hundeyin, that man was on top of everything. Very active, interacts with the public and for me, brought a human face to the NPF. For all his flaws, he had a lot of good points.

This guy was the most dangerous out of all of them. He pointed a gun at me and kept threatening me like my life meant nothing. He’s the same one that hit me with the gun, shocked my body, beat me, and even slapped me from behind when I didn’t see it coming. Out of everyone there, he was the most aggressive. The most dangerous. He needs to be stopped!!! He is evil!!! @PoliceNG @PoliceNG_CRU

I really hope this video goes viral and the Nigeria Police Force sees this and does something about it. This happened in Abulado, Lagos. Me and my guy @ehispascal were on a bike when four officers stopped us. We came down peacefully, no issues at all. One officer was talking to me, another to my guy. Everything was calm. They were asking questions and we answered calmly because we had nothing to hide. They asked me to open my phone, and I didn’t hesitate because I didn’t want any problem. Suddenly, out of nowhere, one man came from behind and slapped me. Even the officer checking my phone was shocked and asked what just happened. At that moment, I didn’t even know he was a police officer because he wasn’t in uniform. Out of anger, I reacted and slapped him back and even tried to confront him. That’s when the others held me and told me he was an officer. That’s when I realized everything was already planned. Next thing, all of them started beating us. It was bad. My guy’s face even got swollen. They then threatened to take us to the station. I told them no problem, let’s go, but the officer who slapped me must come along too. I told them when we get to the station, they would know who my father is. They kept asking for his name, but I refused and said they would find out at the station. That’s when they got scared. Instead of taking us to the station, they drove us to a bridge, dropped us there, and told us to go.

That onikan side, that underbridge leading to Bonny camp, SARS is right there with their korope. They don’t even look like police(because the uniform is different), they look like thieves/kidnappers.

We were preparing for my mum burial, that just a week after her joining the lord. That how her step sister told me and my sister that our house now belongs to their family, her burial was the next day, her body hasn’t even been put back to the earth, my sister just said no problem. That she knows her sister died of cancer and we had to use a lot of money, so we used the house to borrow money, that it will even help us if they take over. Till today, we’ve not heard from her.

Her body is not even cold yet and they’re trying to sell her cars???

I met with the Heads of Nursery and Primary Schools across Agege to review progress and strengthen our shared commitment to quality education. So far, we have renovated 17 schools, established 5 school libraries, and delivered essential learning tools, including 1,800 twin desks, 400 ECC furniture, 72 teacher furniture, and 92 marker boards. We are also in the process of procuring 75 computers to expand digital learning. Beyond infrastructure, we are investing in people and safety, with the recruitment of 50 primary school teachers and school support staff, deployment of security personnel, and ongoing plans to install CCTV systems in schools. We’ve also improved learning environments with 2 seven-aside pitches and connected 5 school compounds to the power grid. Our discussions focused on improving the quality of education, increasing school maintenance support, expanding facilities, and ensuring inclusive learning for special needs students alongside skill acquisition opportunities. Education remains a top priority, because the future of Agege is sitting in our classrooms today. #agege #avo #avoisworking #anewagegeisrising

@docneto @ganiyuobasa2025 This is something you can study. You present it to the LG for solutions to curb it if it’s low but if it’s high, you still present solutions to make it higher. There are times we as citizens can step into the gap. If you can’t do it yourself, you can speak to professionals too

Don't be confused. Joao is portuguese for John. Pedro is portuguese for Peter. So Joao Pedro for example is Portuguese for John Peter. Funny. Right? Let me give you a list of 10 popular Portuguese, Italian and Spanish names whose English equivalent you never paid attention to. The interpretations are in Spanish/Italian/Portuguese John — Juan / Giovanni / João Peter — Pedro / Pietro / Pedro James — Santiago / Giacomo / Tiago Matthew — Mateo / Matteo / Mateus Thomas — Tomás / Tommaso / Tomás Philip — Felipe / Filippo / Filipe Andrew — Andrés / Andrea / André Stephen — Esteban / Stefano / Estêvão Bartholomew — Bartolomé / Bartolomeo / Bartolomeu Mark — Marcos / Marco / Marcos My name is Ajoje. I am a FIFA Licensed Agent and International Sports Lawyer. I write on the Law and Business of Football, a lot. Repost and Follow if you want to read more posts like this.

Went to register a SIM today, and what happened honestly got me thinking. After the first process, he captured my face, and I assumed everything was done. Next thing, he said the registration didn’t go through because the network was bad. Since I wasn’t paying too much attention at first, we started the process all over again. This time, I noticed he picked up another SIM entirely, not the one we had registered earlier. That was when it hit me… he had registered two different SIMs. This is exactly how people get implicated in things they know nothing about. I made sure I collected both SIMs, even though he kept denying it. I’m very sure of what I saw. In the next 24 hours, I’ll find out if both were activated. Please, whenever you’re registering a SIM, pay close attention. Don’t assume anything. Watch every step.

@solodox @ykd4real @gistwurld0 I am just glad you could see it from the other side. We all need to do better(myself included). All I hope is when I am gone, I leave a better Nigeria behind. Maybe our kids then can enjoy using the pedestrian bridge hassle free.

@solodox @ykd4real @gistwurld0 We really need to. Using the pedestrian bridge needs to be more encouraged. Officers of the Law also need to be on alert to discourage people from committing crime on the bridge.

@solodox @ykd4real @gistwurld0 I understand this, but we must still always show empathy. At least laughing is not the best option. Why not advocate for the use of the pedestrian bridge. Call out the pedestrian recklessness, ask for better enforcement. Laughing at someone in pain is just not good enough.

@Omobabarilli @ykd4real @gistwurld0 I know it seems insensitive but have you driven in Nigeria!? I have had to hit a culvert avoiding a pedestrian that was crossing right under a pedestrian bridge! Of course nobody enjoys hurting another person, but Nigerians don’t ever want to use safety measures Makes no sense!

@ykd4real @solodox @gistwurld0 Of course both the driver and the pedestrian could have done better and taken more precautions. That’s not in doubt, but laughing at them is just not it l.
