Cabo Verde🇨🇻, Mauritius🇲🇺 and Seychelles🇸🇨 have made history as the first countries in sub-Saharan Africa to be certified as having eliminated measles and rubella, two vaccine-preventable diseases. This historic achievement is the result of strong national leadership and decades of sustained commitment and investment in vaccination to ensure that no child is left unprotected.
