For all that has been said and I am commenting based on my personal experience, the root of the problem is that children are not reading enough. At 7, I was reading Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew and Bobbsey Twins. By 9 I was reading the same novels my mother (an avid reader) was reading. From the 2nd term of 4th form and through 2 years of 6th form I never went to an English or a GP class and still got A's UWI's Use of English class? I went only 4 times (minimum attendance required) and got an A. Understand in all of this that Mom only had a 6th grade education. Reading is fundamental. Today the adults rarely read for recreation and very few of them (as a percentage) encourage their children to do so. People treat school as school and home as home. Mom with ber 6th grade education recognised it was a partnership where each partner had to hold up their end. Only a very recognise that nowadays

These are all young black boys that have all mysteriously gone missing in different States recently.
