Fantastic article from @thejoelll and wanted to add some thoughts. “The streaming services, to me, are minutes away from being obsolete.” - @jimmyiovine_ joelgouveia.substack.com/p/the-death-of… ---- Streaming made music convenient. It did not make it sustainable for artists. When platforms sit between creators and fans, the artist loses the relationship, the data, and most of the revenue. Millions of streams but no real ownership. No direct communication. No leverage. That model is breaking. The future belongs to artists who own their audience and sell direct. Real communities. Exclusive drops. Limited releases. Experiences. Fans who choose to support, not just passively listen. That is why STUFF exists. To give creators direct to fan infrastructure powered by blockchain as invisible rails. Ownership. Access. Commerce. No gatekeepers controlling the connection. The next era of music is not about more streams. It is about stronger relationships. Own the fan. Own the future. And we can own our $STUFF.

My dear friend & incomparable author Dan Simmons died Saturday from a stroke at age 77. He defied literary norms, exploring historical fiction, horror, crime & other genres. His must-read titles include THE SONG OF KALI & HYPERION. He was one of a kind. dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/lon…

"Remember when we used to own things?" "Now, you don't own—you access, you subscribe, stream, rent." "They call it the convenience era. But let's be real, it's the control era." "Miss a payment, it's gone. Change the terms, too bad. Your tools freeze, your files vanish, your account resets." "You think you're the user? No, you're the product."
