“can we normalize not reading 30+ books a year” YES because reading is not a competition. but acting like reading 30 books a year is physically impossible is insane that’s literally 2-3 books a month. people binge 9 seasons of shows in a week but suddenly books are impossible?

Mark Carney gave Canadians the highest household debt, housing costs, and food inflation in the G7. Now Canadians are forced to take on more debt just to afford rent and food. @MasterNotesX No we do not all agree. When it comes to a TV the bigger the better. Most of us are watching movies and a big TV gives a more theatre-like experience.

No, it’s not “reading”. It actually harkens back to something much older than reading: oral storytelling. Oral storytelling is a noble part of every culture in the world. It’s how most people bonded with friends and family as children, especially in times of limited literacy.

Nobody wants to admit it, but unlimited porn access absolutely cooked an entire generation of men. This goes way beyond attraction now. A lot of men genuinely don’t know how to see women as full human beings anymore without reducing them to body parts, categories, or violent fantasies. Years of nonstop consumption normalized dehumanization so badly that empathy, intimacy, and real connection got replaced with brain rot and objectification. And women are the ones forced to live with them.

Before there was pudding in child safe plastic little cups, we had pudding IN a can! With a tin lid! And we all managed to survive! There was chocolate, vanilla, tapioca, rice pudding and my personal favorite, butterscotch! How many of us licked the lid putting our tongues in danger, even though we were repeatedly told not to?
