Democrats are making the heroic men and women of TSA work without pay for the THIRD time in six months — forcing 366 agents to leave the force.  This loss significantly decreases TSA’s ability to meet passenger demand and leaves critical gaps in staffing, as each new recruit requires 4-6 MONTHS of training.

The American people want safe and secure elections. The SAVE America Act requires proof of citizenship when registering to vote, mandates photo ID when casting a ballot, and directs states to remove non-citizens from their voter rolls. It's simple: Only American citizens should vote in American elections.

🇺🇦 Over the weekend, I joined the Ukrainian American Cultural Center of New Jersey for their documentary screening of 'Children in the Fire’ by Evgeny Afineevsky. This film was a poignant depiction of the systematic abductions of Ukrainian children by Russian forces, but also the unbreakable spirit of the Ukrainian people. While many of these children have been reunited with their families, we remain committed to ensuring every child unlawfully taken is returned home.   Afterwards, I participated in a policy panel with Ukraine's Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations and NJ State Senator Anthony Bucco. As a cosponsor of House Resolution 564, I have urged the return of abducted children to be a prerequisite for any final peace agreement. I continue to stand on that principle as diplomacy advances.

The men and women of the Department of Homeland Security, including our TSA agents, FEMA employees, and Coast Guard members, deserve to be paid for the critical work they do protecting this nation. The House passed bipartisan, full-year funding in January and today we are acting again. It’s time for Washington Democrats to put politics aside and get DHS funded.

After months of failed negotiations over Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs, President Trump made the necessary decision to take action. The Iranian regime has long been the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism and is a direct threat to the United States, Israel, our allies, and interests across the region. Allowing the Ayatollah to advance toward nuclear capability was unacceptable. We stand firmly behind the men and women of our armed forces as they carry out this vital mission, and pray for their safety.

We worked closely with officials in Roxbury and engaged directly with the highest levels of DHS on their behalf. I understand the frustration and emotion this situation has created. The residents of Roxbury can be assured that I will not stop fighting for a workable solution. The overwhelming majority of residents, along with the state and the country, support getting criminal illegal migrants off our streets and stopping the flow of Fentanyl. We need to, and will, keep a level head as we continue to work constructively to deliver results.
