Chairman @RepBrianMast thanks @SecRubio for the substantial change in our foreign policy, finally America first in the foreign policy. “Thank you for choosing to kill those who have been attacking and killing us for over 47 years, specifically attacking us over 350 times in the 30 months prior to Operation Epic Fury.”

Iran’s ambitions have never stopped at its own borders. The regime wants to dominate the region and spread terrorism and violence. As @SecRubio said, the Islamic regime can only be changed when we make the price too high for it to pay.
Department of State@StateDept

SECRETARY RUBIO: “The regime has to change. The Iranian regime traditionally has been expeditionary. In essence their view is they don't want to just govern Iran, they want to govern the region.”

.@RepBrianMast: @POTUS is the first in 47 years to take action against Iran’s endless attacks and threats. Now, Iranian media is refusing to admit they want a deal. The regime’s only option right now is to hide how vulnerable they really are.

.@RepBrianMast: Thanks to President Trump and the support of the United States, Venezuela now stands at the cusp of a free, democratic future that would have been unthinkable less than a year ago. I saw firsthand the hope and determination of the Venezuelan people while leading the first congressional delegation in nearly a decade.

Chairman @RepBrianMast: I was proud to lead the first congressional visit to Venezuela in nearly a decade. During my time, I saw both hope and despair among the Venezuelan people. While they suffer through thousands lost from a tragic earthquake, they are also seeing hope once again for their nation from the continued support from the United States. China, Russia, and Iran are all departing Venezuela and our hemisphere, and as told to me, repeatedly, Venezuela will again be great because President Trump returned Venezuelan Independence.

NEWS: A bipartisan group of lawmakers led by HFAC Chair Brian Mast is in Venezuela, the first House CODEL to the country since Trump’s operation that captured Nicolás Maduro The group met with acting president Delcy Rodriguez Mast says: “I was proud to lead the first congressional visit to Venezuela in nearly a decade, I witnessed a country filled with both hope and despair. Hope expressed by every single person because of the freedom the people have been given from Nicholas Maduro since January 3rd. Despair because of the destruction caused by the earthquake in June. But while thousands have died and hundreds more are being found in the rubble, the Venezuelan people still hold onto faith and have found support in the continued support from the United States during this tragic time. China, Russia, and Iran are all departing Venezuela and our hemisphere, and as told to me, over and over, Venezuela will again be great because President Trump returned Venezuelan Independence.” First on @FoxNews

.@AmbUNReform: The UN human rights system has been losing credibility for decades. Volker Türk led it to its deathbed. Today’s vote kicked the bucket.

.@RepMikeLawler The Abraham Accords are a foundation upon which we can build a stronger regional security architecture, expand economic opportunity, encourage innovation, and create new pathways for peace. Congress has an important role to play in ensuring the Accords continue to grow and deliver lasting benefits for the United States and our partners.

.@RepYoungKim: By outsourcing our commercial shipbuilding to our primary geopolitical adversary, we have handed Beijing the keys to the global supply chain and the industrial engine, driving the fastest naval buildup since World War Two. If we want to restore balance to the oceans, we need to look to our greatest advantage: our international allies and partners.

.@USAmbUN: Churches are being burned. Pastors are being executed. People are being arrested literally for just wearing a cross around their neck. We are taking the persecution of Christians in Nigeria very seriously.

.@USAmbUN: UN’s budget the last 25 years has tripled in size, but the world has not seen a tripling of peace break out around the world. Our charge is to make the UN great again.

Chairman @RepBrianMast: President Trump has been clear—we won’t tolerate the status quo. We simply cannot ask American taxpayers to continue funding failed UN missions. Thankfully, @USAmbUN is relentlessly pushing the America First agenda on the global stage.
