Possibly a combination of bots and lagging behind on a narrative where people who just don't actually use the thing and just repeat what most people were saying for views or to fit in and are also lagging. It's definitely better.

Used Opus 4.7 (max effort) in Claude Code all day. It’s really, really good. Not sure why people dunk on it. big jump: – actually understands large codebases – produces clean, readable architecture diagrams – more agentic Did hit one dumb misread of my instruction, not sure if that’s harness or just jagged intelligence. Feels like a new base model.

@theo Limits moving slower, it's definitely smarter. Like I feel like I'm talking to a legitimately smarter person/entity. Hard to say with 4.6 tanking leading into release and feeling SO dumb, but feels noticeably better so far.

How are people feeling about opus 4.7 so far?

@TheShortBear Wrong year IMHO. If it was any other year then mid terms I would believe maybe. If equities absolutely rip from here, I can see 86k. Also admit I could be wrong, but BTC barely moved on that spx rip, feels like an anchor in comparison.

Opus 4.7 it's definitely feels smarter. The increased limits are helping too. I feel like I went from talking to a stoner to it engineer. The way that it's structuring it's questions and plans is much more intellectually crisper feeling. Jury still out I'm how much better it is but it does seem to be thinking through things better and accomplishing the tasks I'm asking it to do better.

Despite the rally there is still a good chance we could be nearing a mid term top here soon. We usually have to wait until the end of the year for the trend to resume. This would happen as we see GDP numbers miss and the fear about the softness in the data be discussed, perhaps only for the AI theme to reinflate and give us a strong rally into 2027s.

Opus 4.6 vs. Opus 4.7 for website design: 4.6 looks like AI slop. 4.7 looks like it was designed by a $20k team. The leap in quality is insane.

@apples_jimmy It feels like bot momentum. I've used it, the limits are better, it's smarter. The complaints are 4.6 complaints. So yea, I don't see how anyone can say its the same unless they bots or just repeating narratives and are lagging because they haven't actually used it.

Ok about 80% of posts I’ve seen have been negative on Opus 4.7 Might need a few days of use to see where this settles.

I longed the literal bottom. Woke up in the middle of the night, rolled over like divine inspiration and went " eh, looks like a double bottom", then went back to sleep. Took profit in the morning. I could have just left a stop and caught all this move on a nice futures position.🤦‍♂️ Spent the rest of the time reading X, listening to news and trying to be technical and serious and missed the rest thinking we would roll over. Maybe i should just stick to my gut and trailing stops haha.

Just yeeted some liars and incompetent traders. Replaced them with AI driven content providers that got it right. Hmm, are we there yet? Do we stop following hundreds of voices fighting for attention, motivated sometimes to not be honest or do we follow data driven AI. 🤔
