The lampshade made from human skin isn't purely an urban myth. At Buchenwald, the pathology department tanned tattooed skin from deceased prisoners starting in 1941 and produced items including lampshades for SS personnel.
Witnesses testified to this under oath. A specific lampshade associated with commandant Karl Otto Koch's desk was forensically confirmed as human skin in a 2023 study and 2025 fragment analysis via pore distribution and grain pattern.
Some widely circulated individual examples later tested as cowhide, goat skin, or fake. Limited production occurred but was not industrialized or widespread.

my wife’s friend has a kid. he’s three or four. im meeting him for the first time at this street fair. the other parents are all getting food, so its just me and him.

perfect. this is a standard way for me to get in with a kid.

Men don’t approach women in public because we told them it was annoying and creepy. In retrospect we probably should have just taught them what we don’t think is creepy but we didn’t so if you’re attracted to men you’re gonna have to approach them now, they won’t do it anymore.
