We are still expecting a great display tonight. Best time is 7pm-12am, but it could continue overnight. Stay tuned as we will let you know more specifically when we start getting reports. But find a dark area and don't forget to take your cell phone, often cell phone cameras can spot it first and in more detail than our eyes can. Happy Aurora Hunting!

@champwebdotnet Second to that on improvements…the security check in was a bit silly even if it didn’t cost a lot of time. Having a pylon to refer to would also be nice to have. Overall though, 100% agree on a great return. Maybe in 2026 we can get it after Indy!!??! 🙏

#FinalTweets Milwaukee - The first one here has to go the the Indycar fans and the Milwaukee area residents who showed up on back to back days for the return to the historic Milwaukee Mile. I’m not ignorant to the fact that grandstands in turn 1 and turn 4 were closed, but given the scheduling of the event on Labor Day and a truck race just happened a week prior, the turnout was probably a best case scenario. And as result those that came were treated to picture perfect weather (was 100 degrees + mid week) and arguably the best race(s) of the season so far with 95% of our polled fans calling race 1 Great/Good. Add a few support series, throw in a concert, offer up camping for free, and maybe build a temporary go-kart track to build on the first year. Either way, it’s clear that the racing was great and it showcased what Indycar should be wherever it goes.

@champwebdotnet Spot on. I was nervous about the crowd size going into the weekend with it being great weather and holiday but there were more people there than even the organizers planned for. Event Tshirts sold out Saturday morning. Food vendors sold out Sunday of some items. Great start!

Just gotta say, it was amazing to see so many people out at @MKE_IndyFest last weekend. Credit to everyone behind the scenes for making it happen. As many people as we eventually want? No. Way better than last time? Yes. A great place to start building this back into a staple event on the calendar? Hell ya. Not only did the fans show up (I’m assuming because you listened to our rant on @AskOffTrack) but they were knowledgeable, passionate and got to see a few incredible races. Can’t wait for next year.
