If Rutledge destroys in camp then I would have no issue starting him Week 1. I would prefer a situation where you can bring him along slowly and eventually start him but you may not have that luxury.

I think these people are so low IQ that even if a healthy Bo Nix had gone out and handily beaten Drake Maye in the AFC Championship, it still wouldn’t change their minds. They’re so invested in their priors that admitting they were wrong is simply off the table.
