If there is one thing mainstream japanese publishers are good at, it is them not being stingy about discounting their games slowly and eventually.

Seeing India buying 100,000+ Capcom games brings a little tear to my eye.
Resident Evil and MonHun probably contributes to that number more than the other titles, but ngl, still impressed.

One of the more interesting slides from Capcom's financial report shows where it sells the most games. The United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, UK, Germany, China and Japan are the markets where Capcom sold over 1 million games last year. This includes console and PC games.

@vdawg67 With that being said, more people should play it. Such a unique game which mimicks the PS3/360 era of gaming in a positive manner.
Capcom really is on a generational run this cycle.

@vdawg67 It's mostly because of Nvidia marketing also. Not exclusively because of the game.
Pragmata still doesn't have the moving power of Resident Evil, SF, and MonHun. Mostly these three games contribute to the numbers. I've seen randoms glazing RE9 out of nowhere.

@_viraj_pawar Hopefully. Capcom did have a presence this year at Comic Con through their official regional distribution (Express Interactive), so they have the country under their radar.
Just a matter of how much will they get involved directly.

@Only_Redacted Pre Covid switch pricing was something , I got a second hand lite for 9k and bought my sister a full fat switch for 13k with the box and bill 6 months later

Nintendo Switch is very readily available here through parallel imports. It's not inaccessible. Unaffordable? Yes.
Inaccessible? No. It was one of the best selling consoles here after PS5 and wasn't even officially available.

Nintendo are FINALLY releasing the Switch 1 in India, it's about damn time, cutting out 1.4 billion people from accessing your console is stupid. All my friends in India illegally pirate Nintendo games on their PCs' because they literally have no other option. Nintendo has relied way too heavily on Japan and the U.S. for the bulk of its software and hardware sales for far too long and needs to look at other markets. PlayStation is the dominant gaming brand globally because Sony sells the console in most markets and they have been very aggressive about it.
