F1 Grid Girls F1 has enough issues but this has always been something I thought was a crazy decision. Formula 1 stopped using grid girls from the start of the 2018 season, announcing the change on January 31, 2018. Liberty Media, the sport’s owner, deemed the practice outdated, irrelevant to fans, and at odds with modern societal norms. The move, effective immediately for all 2018 Grands Prix, aimed to align with a more inclusive brand vision. I watched Moto GP last night which made a refreshing change with pure racing. The starting grid had the grid girls which was a breath of fresh air to see. I personally would prefer to see women on the grid as the alternatives in 2026 seem to be on degrading sites which will not be named. What are your thoughts on Grid Girls? After customizing the cursors, I managed to style my desktop to match the Marathon vault interface.
I think Hyprland users would have handled this task even better :D
