One of the super useful features of the opencell.czbiohub.org website is that you can look up the cellular copy numbers and concentrations of your favorite proteins - check it out! (even for proteins that aren't among our targets or their interactors)

@damiandn We certainly tried! But we've "only" tagged ~10% of the proteome - there's a long way to go, and many cell types to explore (and we hope robots will get us there, since it took a heroic amount of TC by many folks on our team to get us even this far)

When I was in grad school (pre CRISPR, obvs) a prof once asked what our fantasy experiment was. I said it was to stick a fluorescent tag on every gene in the genome and image the endogenous localization. These crazy bastards have basically done it.

Excited to see this update! Cytoself enabled us to quantitatively compare our IP/MS interaction data with our microscopy images (spoiler alert: we showed that if proteins in our library share similar localization patterns, they are more likely than not to directly interact!)
