CHRISTIANITY IN A NUTSHELL Christianity says there is exactly one God, one single being, one “thing,” the way there is one car in a garage or one human in a room. Not three examples of the same kind, not three copies, not a team or a group, but one numerically identical reality. That one God is not a collection, not made of parts, not divisible in any way. And yet this one identical God is three distinct persons. Each person is not one-third of God, not a piece or a role, but fully and entirely that same one God. So the Father is that one God, the Son is that very same one God, and the Spirit is that very same one God, but the Father is not the Son, the Son is not the Spirit, and the Spirit is not the Father. Not like one person with three jobs, not like one actor playing three roles, not like one mind with shifting personalities, not like three humans sharing one nature. All of those are rejected. The claim is stricter: as if Alice, Bert, and Lucas were each wholly and completely the very same single human being, not three humans, not one human pretending, but one identical human who is somehow three distinct “who’s.” The only difference between them is said to be “relations of origin”: the Father is from no one, the Son is from the Father, the Spirit proceeds, but this “from-ness” is not supposed to introduce any dependence, hierarchy, or division, even though in every normal case “being from” something means exactly that. Then this same one God, who is the Son and not the Father, is sent by the Father, who is equally that same one God, to become incarnate. Now the one person of the Son has two natures, divine and human, so the same subject is all-knowing and yet learns, all-powerful and yet weak, impassible and yet suffers, immortal and yet dies, and this is said to be perfectly consistent because the opposite attributes are assigned to different “natures,” even though they belong to the same person. And the whole story culminates with God the Son offering himself to God the Father to satisfy divine justice, where “justice” now means that guilt or the consequences of it can be detached from the guilty and reassigned to an innocent party, so long as that innocent volunteers, as if a man commits a brutal crime and, in court, a completely innocent stranger stands up and says, “Punish me instead,” and the judge not only allows it but calls it perfect justice, the criminal walks free, the innocent is condemned, and everyone applauds the moral beauty of the system, so that God can save human beings from the consequences imposed by God, by means of a sacrifice made by God to God, with the judge, the law, and the substitute all being the same single divine reality arranging a transaction within itself, all while remaining one simple, indivisible God whose internal distinctions are somehow real enough to stage this entire drama and yet not real enough to count as more than one, and where this “sacrifice” turns out to be an all-powerful, immortal being briefly experiencing death only to undo it a short time later, giving up nothing he cannot instantly reclaim, losing nothing he does not immediately take back, paying a price that costs him nothing in the end, and still presenting it as the highest possible act of self-giving, which, when you put it plainly, sounds less like a profound moral triumph and more like a perfectly scripted loop, though of course it is meant to feel deeply moving, because what could be more touching than your God dying for you to save you from himself.

Sexuality doesn't exist in a vacuum separate from other sexually dimorphic traits, nor psychologically separate from gender archetypes, culture, etc.

The concept only makes some sense if homosexual tendencies always included other cross-sex related traits in behavior, psychology, or physiology. The idea that there is like a prenatal switch that selects hetero, bi, or homo without effecting anything else makes no sense.

The idea of "born this way" as one is born with an innate immutable "sexual orientation" outside the typical reproductive instincts of both sexes, does not have strong scientific evidence. Predispositions that lead to certain tendencies or enduring patterns makes more sense.

@OpiniVerse @ThatOtherJJ @DuncanHenry78 Fighting fire with fire. You were saying that true bottom (not women cos playing) homosexuals smell bad and that tops should seek to sleep with women who think they are men instead. IDGAF about hurt feelings. Stay in your lane and leave us homosexuals to do what we do.

@OpiniVerse @ThatOtherJJ @DuncanHenry78 Implying anuses smell bad, so homosexuals would want to sleep with a vagina. No. Homosexual men want to sleep with me, not a vagina. Because I am a biological man and that is what they are attracted to. Stay in your lane and out of our business.
